Finally got to watch Howl and it was uhm… a bit different. At times, the documentary side of the film got me a tad bored. However, it has some pretty good animation scenes and James Franco is always a plus. All I can say is, Allen Ginsberg was quite an interesting man. His poetry, although a bit confusing at first, starts to make sense after analyzing it. The fact that the movie repeated some of it helped me understand it more and get a feel for it. I’d like to go back and re-read some of the poems he wrote.
